Creative idea explanation: Romania has the largest natural forests remaining in Europe. Today, they are facing destruction because of massive illegal logging. That happens in remote areas, far from people’s everyday life. That’s why the Natural History Museum, together with WWF, created The Diodrama. We replaced museum’s oldest diorama with a deforested landscape. We revealed it during the Museum Night in front of tens of thousands of visitors. The initiative brought back into the spotlight the “Forest Radar” program, which Romanians can use to report suspicious wood transports, leading to the launch of a dedicated app by the Ministry of the Environment.
