Young men in New Zealand love doing dumb stuff in the water. But it's killing them. Positive safety messaging simply doesn't work on this audience. So, we went in the opposite direction and created the Swim Reaper; a macabre character, who tried to peddle stupidity to them. The consequences of dealing with him were clear swim dumb and you're done. We placed these posters right at the point of jumping off; New Zealand's most dangerous swimming spots.
