Synopsis:
In Finland a recent change in the taxi law has had cabbies raising their fists. The new law was made so companies like Uber could get to business – but it caused some confusion and controversy. A Finnish taxi start-up 02 Taksi made an emotional (yet tongue-in-cheek) commercial to highlight the end of an era, and to show the Finns there are new and better ways to use taxi services.
02 Taksi is a new start-up, which provides the taxis of all companies in one mobile app. To highlight how the app has made the physical taxi pole obsolete, 02 Taksi’s campaign features a pole with the taxi sign “half-mast”.
They have gone to a better place.
