English Synopsis

Threshold created the first CPG Alternative Reality Game (ARG). The ARG leveraged the irreverent humour of Seth Green, to bring new life to the branding message “Nobody’s Gonna Lay A Finger On My Butterfinger”. The ARG began with a video of Green’s onset rant after being allegedly assaulted. A second video showed surveillance footage of Green being mugged. Finally, Seth Green asked fans to recover his vintage Butterfinger. The ARG included 14 original videos, 2 micro-sites, social media and rich media plans, 6 different games unrolling over a 3 week period and ending on Halloween 2009.
