Description
Every year, people look forward to Google's Year in Search campaign for a recap of the year’s biggest searches. But how could we make a campaign people would like about 2016, a year everyone hated?
Using the iconic Google search bar as a framing device, we highlighted moments of humanity, joy, and above all else, love. We featured the song “Light the Sky” by 2016 America’s Got Talent winner Grace Vanderwaal, a song that represented light in a seemingly dark year.
