Gun by Gun is a non-profit group that crowdsources money to fund gun buy back campaigns. This empowers individuals to make a tangible impact on the safety of their communities by physically removing unwanted firearms from people’s homes.
In this spirit of tangible materials, we created posters and print ads that juxtapose the documentation required for positive events in people’s lives to the purchase of a deadly weapon. All of the events portrayed in the three executions are based on real stories. The ease of access to firearms in the United States is starkly shown in this way. We placed the work in posters around NY and in Time Out New York, whose affluent and engaged readership are the community to whom this organization needs to speak.
