In real life.The 3 visuals, illustrated by Michael Rieder, shows 3 of these humanized "monsters", threatening 3 children in their own bedrooms.
80% of child abuse are committed by close relatives, known by the young victims. This proximity makes it even harder to detect these monstrous predators. Because parents have hard time to imagine that relatives could commit the worst, and children have even more difficulty to talk and expose their aggressors. That’s why the campaign encourages people to go on the association website where a help to learn the warning signs of child sexual abuse has been specially created.
Innocence in Danger is an international association fighting against pedophilia. It’s sometimes hard to detect the signs of abuse, because predators are too often relatives, too close to be suspected, and because children cannot find the words to express their suffering. So Innocence created a list of signs to help adults detecting possible sexual abuses, and recognizing in whom monsters are hiding.
