Synopsis:
5% of the world's population is colorblind -- We want to make sure they don't feel forgotten this Christmas.
To most of them, the colors on Christmas gift wrapping and trees, or Santa's outfit, appear as dull shades of brown or grey. We've used a scientifically researched color palette to make them these Christmas cards, easy to share online or print (for free) for friends and family members. We collaborated with Dr Jay Nietz at Neitz ColorVision Lab, and he provided the right color combinations based on his research into colorblindness.
This project is an exercise in inclusive design, and we hope it becomes a theme that repeats every year, making the red-green colorblind feel like they aren’t forgotten on Christmas. The cards are themed around this color deficiency in a light, humorous tone. They can be shared online on social media platforms, or even printed and mailed to their friends and family. http://www.rebrandingchristmas...
