Describe the brief from the client
To create a brand identity for Rembrandt Law Company.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
Rembrandt Law Company specialises in intellectual property rights (ie. trademarks, copyrights, patents, etc.), and helps clients navigate through the maze of fine print. Rembrandt (which incidentally means ‘advice’ in Germanic languages) wanted us to develop its brand identity.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
We looked at visual cues in their area of speciality. Fortuitously, the abbreviation of their name allowed us to use the symbols for registration and copyright. We also included the asterisk to denote fine print. When the trademark superscript that had to come in, was added, the logo looked whole and complete.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The logo illustrated the profile of the company in a beautiful manner. People could relate to the company and its profile, the moment they saw its logo. The company successfully found its distinction from the other rival companies.
