Insights, Strategy & the Idea

PLEASE SEE THE AUDIO VIDEO PRESENTATION ATTACHED

We wanted to invite Commodore 64 enthusiasts to a European convention. We decided to take them back to their beloved pre-Internet era.

Creative Execution

We created a video invitation. And then every hour we've been airing it on the radio.

RADIO SCRIPT

DIGITAL VO: This is a message for your Commodore 64. Record it on tape and play on your computer.

SFX: digital bleeping sound of C64 program loading.

DIGITAL VO: This message will be repeated in an hour.

Results and Effectiveness

Fans recorded the sound themselves, and an MP3 version of the ad suitable for both C64 and its emulators has circulated forums and sites worldwide.

The number of attendants at the convention tripled.
