Insights, Strategy & the Idea
Context:
Editions Points, a French publishing house, has published the famous speeches collection to underline the important role they have played in our past and consequently in our present.
Insight:
Some speeches have deeply influenced the world we are living in. They have brought revolutions, wars, peace or unifications. They have changed consciences and raised the nations.
In a word, they have changed history.
Creative Execution
We have created posters on which we can read the title of a famous speech. Each letter has been designed to show an event, so when we read the entire title, we can chronologically watch what the speech has changed in history. This helps us measure the actual impact of the text. Each poster has been strategically placed on walls in specific areas to invite people to feel the power of words and realise the impact they still have in today’s society.
Results and Effectiveness
After the launch of the campaign, Editions Points customers asked specifically for the famous speeches special collection.
Sales went up 17% within 2 weeks.
Over 1 month later, the murals are still visible.
More than 25,000 people view the posters daily.
