Full script of the ad IN ENGLISH, REGARDLESS OF THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGE OF THE AD

SFX: Garage ambience

MVO: Okay lady, I just did a quick once over of your car, which is totally free of charge...

ANN: You’re listening to Eugene. A quote-unquote mechanic.

Right now, Eugene is swindling an elderly lady out thousands of dollars in car repairs. A lady who just stopped in to ask for directions.

Other things to consider about Eugene: he doesn’t wash his hands after he goes, he doesn’t yield to oncoming traffic, he litters while standing next to trash bins, he talks in movie theatres and if he accidentally receives your mail in his mailbox, he reads it.

MVO: What suspension?

ANN: Why is Eugene such an unpleasant person? Co-workers say it stems from mounting debt caused by an unreturned video rental from 11 years ago. Could be, but we think it’s because he has yet to smell the amazing scent of Gain Laundry Detergent.

MVO: I’m an honest guy...

ANN: Just one whiff of Gain’s scent and it will give anyone a moment of joy they’ll never forget.
Even unsanitary, law breaking, littering, public nuisance, privacy-invading mechanics like Eugene.

Gain. Sniff, sniff, hurray.

MVO: You can trust this face, right?
