MVO1: Hey, Dew drinkers, it’s time for another episode of ‘Mountain Dew User’s Guide to the Good Life’.

Today: How to not seem like an idiot.

MVO2: Exactly. Even when baffled by a question.

MVO1: For example, if a girl asks: ‘Excuse me. Do you happen to know the circumference of the sun?’

Don’t do this....

MVO2: Yes, I do. Um... can you repeat the question?

MVO1: ‘You’re a stupid idiot.’

Now, here’s what you should have done.

MVO2: [In a British accent] Quite right. Spot on question, love.

MVO1: Exactly: To appear smarter than you are, use a British accent.

MVO2: [In a British accent] Bloody brilliant. Oh, because the sun is blazin’ hot, isn’t it? It’s aces.

MVO1: ‘Oh wow, you’re like so smart and charming. Want to grab a Dew?’

MVO2: [In a British accent] Mountain Dew? Cheerio. Sounds like a jolly good time.

MVO1: See? When you speak with a British accent, you don’t really have to say anything. And you’ll seem witty and intelligent.

MVO2: A British accent. Just another way to live the Mountain Dew good life, mates.

MVO1: Buddy, that’s not a British accent.

ANN: Mountain Dew. Do the Dew.
