Script In Original Language
Unicef.

Script In English
MVO: It was on Thursday, the 6th of May of 1999. 14 years ago. My brother and I left school and started playing football in an empty field. There were six of us. Dembo and Bakari were the goalkeepers. My brother and Mohamed played defense and Lamin and I were forwards. My brother had a number 8 on his t-shirt hand- sewed by our mother. I remember him stained with mud, running after the ball that Lamin had kicked away...about 15 meters from us. At that moment I wiped the sweat from my forehead and a car's engine started making noise from the distance.SFX: VIOLIN STRINGS ANNCR: When a landmine kills your brother, it's impossible to forget the last moment you were together. Join Unicef and help us to defend the rights of children who have been victims of landmines and to prevent others from stepping on them. April 4th, International Day for Mine Awareness. Unicef.
