A first in global broadcasting took place on Wednesday 18 January as we came together with Channel 4 to air a live colonoscopy during an ad break, to demonstrate that thanks to research, there are many things happening across the UK right now to help prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. 60-year-old patient, Philip, had bowel polyps removed by Dr Sunil Dolwani at University Hospital Wales.
