Description
Full-service marketing agency Intermark Group is launching a quick-hit spot TV and web campaign for health care client American Family Care (AFC) that pokes fun of the uber-annoying 2016 election cycle.
The 30-second spot will air on early and late news programming during all broadcast network affiliates in AFC markets and local cable channels CNN and Fox News on Tuesday, Nov. 8 (Election Day), and Wednesday, Nov. 9. Longer-form video will run on Facebook and Twitter. American Family Care (AFC) operates urgent care, walk-in care, accessible primary care, family care and occupational health services in over 160 local clinics in 26 states.
The ad is set up like a prescription drug ad, where a dramatic scenario is interrupted by a kindly doctor who describes a series of “medical” conditions referred to as Election-Related Injuries. These include Phone Elbow Tendonitis, Eye-roll Strain, Bitten Tongue, Canada Thoughts and Crazy Uncle SyndromeHysterics. The prescription? “A trip to AFC for the best in urgent, non-emergency treatment.”
