Synopsis:
A dedicated husband learns the art of make-up on itself so that he can start applying make-up on his wife's, who no longer knows how to do it because of Alzheimer's, a lovely example that teaches all of us, the most important thing: to love the patient above all else.
According to the OCDE (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) report "Health at a Glance 2017", Portugal is the 4th country of the OCDE with more cases of dementia per one thousand inhabitants. More than 5% of the Portuguese population ages 65 and older has Alzheimer's, and it is estimated that this number will triple by 2050. Taking care of an elderly who suffers from Alzheimer's depends on many factors and AHDPA deals with a lot of people who feel lost, not knowing how to take care of a relative with the disease.
