English Description

The 90 second film plays on the festival’s rich heritage of bringing the world’s best new films to the capital by depicting a series of everyday London scenarios in which the dialogue has been lifted directly from iconic movies that have been shown at the festival over the years.

Because of the festival’s target audience of avid cinema goers and hardcore film buffs, dialogue was chosen from a wide range of films in order to give the piece real depth and make it something they will want to watch repeatedly in order to figure out every reference.

The resulting film pays homage to some of the greatest directing and screenwriting talent in cinema history, with luminaries such as Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, The Coen Brothers, Jared Hess and Paul Thomas Anderson having their work referenced.
