English Description
The story takes place in a quaint village in Ghana where cocoa is currency. It’s that time of the year when crop is exchanged for cash. The best cocoa usually ensures that the villagers are fed for one more year. It also ensures we get our years’ supply of Bournville, a fine dark chocolate.

The expert from England usually picks one bean at a time, after much scrutiny and deliberation. While he chooses one, he rejects another. This bean that has been turned down; it turns out, has feelings of its own. It starts crying. While the townsfolk sympathize with this specimen; which nearly became a Bournville, a rude villager knocks it off, reminding them and us, that it’s only a bean and emotions are completely wasted on it.

While the European collects the ‘approved’ beans and leaves, the voiceover reminds us that Bournville is quite picky about the ingredients that go into it. Which possibly results in the remarkable taste.
