About CoorDown
Coordinator of the National Associations of people with Down syndrome was created in 2003 and it currently represents 74 Italian associations. The mission of CoorDown is to protect the rights of people with Down syndrome and their integration in society through many activities and the promotion of social communication campaigns. The CoorDown organizes, every second Sunday of October, the National Day of people with Down syndrome and on March 21 promotes in Italy the World Down Syndrome Day.
