Tasked with the job of re-energising iconic whiskey brand Cutty Sark, JSA's director Hans Emanuel has channeled the spirit of an era. His film, set in a prohibition-style bar in reference to the whiskey's 1923 birth date, channels all the notorious energy of that time with a few more modern-looking characters thrown in.
The film itself is a brilliant tribute to the culture of the 1920's and to the brand itself. Shot in Scotland in just one day, the spot was designed to have global appeal across a new generation and audience and is the centrepiece of a campaign via Signal, featuring outdoor advertising, social media, online and TVC outreach combined.
