Doctors of the World is an NGO that was created 36 years ago. For their annual Christmas fundraising campaign, after a harsh year of wars, natural disasters and epidemics, they wanted to convey a message of hope.
When the campaign was launched in mid-December 2016, Aleppo, had been under siege for over a month. Many civilians were being wounded or killed every day, sadly, making the campaign even more relevant.
« The Beauty of the World » plays on an apparent paradox. On the idea that you can find some true beauty in the darkest places in the world.
