When you have bad teeth you let somebody else with good teeth enjoy the life goodies that were destined for you. The idea is illustrated with the story of Oto and his talking puppet. Oto started to use the puppet to cover his bad teeth, but what seemed like a great solution turned out to be a real life drama.
