Synopsis:
Created by Chemistry, the new campaign is designed to help protect wild horses on public lands in the Western United States where tens of thousands of them have been removed in recent years to appease ranchers, many being killed in the process.
The campaign brings awareness to these injustices, working to correct the misconceptions and a general lack of awareness regarding this important issue. While Chemistry and Friends of Animals have partnered for several years, this is the first time they’ve dedicated an entire campaign to wild horses. After seeing so much conversation and lack of understanding around wild horses, Friends of Animals knew it was time to give the issue a broader platform and hopefully bring about change for these wild horses.
The campaign, running across print and digital, was shot in black & white with high contrast to emphasize the subjects’ faces, allowing their physical expressions to tell the story of these innocent animals.
