On 5 December 2013 we lost a towering figure of the 20th century.Ireland/ Davenport, Johannesburg were asked to create a tribute to this man, Mandela, which reminds us of all that he stood for and all that he's given to the world.
So we created a tribute film, resurrecting the words of Madiba, out of the belief that he will only truly die if his ideals and words are forgotten. So we filmed children from around the world recording parts of his infamous Rivonia trial speech. With this film, we highlighted the fact that we have the power to keep Madiba's words and ideals alive, by making them our own and by doing this, Mandela will live on through us all.
