In Africa, many women are infected with HIV. Whithout help their babies will be infected too. Orange Babies supports the mothers and helps them to deliver a healthy baby.
In Holland, as in many other countries, the stork is a symbol of birth. In stories the stork delivers the baby to the mother. In the film, we take this legend literally.
We see a stork. This stork is attacked by a vulture, the symbol of death. A fierce battle follows. David against Goliath. Eventually, the stork wins, the vulture takes off. The stork continues his mission and lands on the roof of an African hospital. The moment he lands, we hear the crying of a newborn baby.
