There are 2 towns in Ecuador called Salinas. One is in the Pacific Ocean, it is the country’s most famous beach, frequented by tourists and surfers. The other is a small and cold town in the Andes, with very few inhabitants.
This is the story of a surfer who arrives to the bus terminal in Quito and takes the first bus to Salinas, without knowing it would take him to the wrong destination. When the people in the town realize that the surfer is in the wrong place, they have a gesture of typical Ecuadorian solidarity and get together to give him what he was looking for.
