Cheap Holidays pokes fun at discount grocers as a mom regales her family with her plans for a feast that will include “cheap meat,” “cheap cheese on cheap crackers” and “the cheapest pie we’ve ever had.” In Santa¸ a boy hops on the lap of a department store Saint Nick and recites a gift list that includes a spiral ham, camembert, and asparagus “made with garlic, olive oil and toasted walnuts.”
