Description
The war in Syria has been going on for 7 years. Just before Christmas, the conflict escalated in the city of Aleppo. Most NGO’s were leaving the region, except for the Red Cross. New funds were needed. Urgently. In the week before Christmas, when we were all preparing our Christmas meals and gifts, the Red Cross wanted to wake up the world. Therefore, we edited horrible news footage of the war on Dean Martins classical Christmas song “Let it snow”, giving the lyrics a whole other meaning. This impactful film was sent to the press and spread on social media on December 23th.
