Brief Explanation
We had already redesigned the Royal Mail Group website to reflect the modern postal service; seamless, quick, responsive, a pleasure to use. But what about Royal Mail as part of British business history? How to integrate heritage without compromising modernity? The solution..? Bring past and present together. We created a rich, interactive timeline that’s visually pleasing and irresistibly engaging. It offers multiple layers of multimedia, animated backgrounds, evocative sound design and parallax technology, even a surprise ending. The timeline is universally loved, with a 5 minute dwell time (benchmark 2 minutes) and 30% bounce rate.
