Synopsis:
Y&R Mexico and Save The Children Mexico released the film "Survivors" to generate awareness about the organization’s work all over the country. "Survivors" shows the most common problems that many Mexican children face every day. The film highlights how Save The Children helps and supports children in extreme situations including labor exploitation, child marriage, child migration and humanitarian emergencies.
Implementation
For this spot we did a thorough casting. Most of the kids had never been in front of a camera. The challenge and success of this casting was to find kids who could handle the brutality of the scenes and be able to sing in english to break the 4th wall. Each kid showed the strength and understanding of each situation as it’s appreciated in each frame. Director likes to work with non-actors as he did in his previous featured films to get the raw reality that the film shows us.
Entry Summary
What we show in this film, are situations of risk to which the children of Latin America are exposed.
