Specsavers wanted to create a suite of idents (15sec, 10sec, 5sec) with a ‘film’ theme to be played in sponsorship spots on Film On Four. They used old film noir footage and recut it with a new voiceover to follow the adventures of a short sighted detective. The voiceover was supplied by Hugh Dennis.
