Goodby, Silverstein & Partners have just launched a new campaign for TD Ameritrade. Voiced by Matt Damon and directed by Brad Silberling (director of âLemony Snicketâs A Series of Unfortunate Eventsâ and âCity of Angelsâ), the new spots are highly stylized and use personal story telling, a unique approach for the financial category. This campaign uses classic storytelling to take complex financial concepts, simplify them, and act them out in the lives of real people. To do that, GSP shot them in the style of filming a play to show the unpredictable nature of life while offering straight-forward retirement guidance.
