One of the shortest roadmovies ever, about a little sugar man who wants to get home. Directed by Joe Vanhoutteghem, we see a little man in real sugar, animated by real puppeteers, enduring the hardships of the outside world to finally arrive in the warmth of his own home. The animation technique is really back to basics, with in postproduction every image cleaned. This is a very pure and authentic way to tell that the world is a huge, tough and yet beatiful place, but that at the same time it is really sweet to feel the warmth of home, of coming home.
