Brief Explanation
We took the stunning photographic images from our 100% Middle-earth campaign then handed them over to the ‘magicians’ at Weta Workshop who let their Middle-earth minds - and pencils - wander. The mandatory being: ‘the illustration must fit with the the photography’ - that Fantasy must give way to reality, and vice versa. In doing so, 12 one-of-a-kind scenes were created with a huge range of digital applications in mind: from homepage carousel, landscape and skyscraper banner formats that would ‘peel and reveal’, rich-media that allowed Middle-earth exploration, and exclusive content for the enjoyment of die hard fans.
