Synopsis:
Anthem is an ode to the United States Marines Corps which illustrates the nobility of the fighting spirit that flows through their veins. A spirit that lives in their hearts and is manifested as a promise they’ve made to honor and protect the country. The commercial depicts sculptures of Marines fighting and winning various battles throughout history that are revealed to compose one huge Marine sculpture in the end. The emotions in the sculptures’ faces demonstrate the struggles they are overcoming on the battlefield as well as their own internal battles, like those in recruit training and disaster relief, battles that make them Marines. Battles that pay homage to the faithfulness, heroism and bravery of the United Sates Marine Corps.
