The Super Bowl is just weeks away, which means the battle for the year’s best commercial is in full swing.
This morning, Victoria’s Secret released its gameday commercial, and we have a feeling it’ll be a serious contender for fan favorite, at least among the male viewers.
In the ad, VS Angels Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Adriana Lima and more seductively flaunt their picture-perfect figures in the brand’s signature lacy lingerie.
Brenda Lee’s “I’m in the Mood for Love” provides a sultry soundtrack for the women as they subtly sway in time to the music.
While neither the women’s ensembles nor the settings reference the Super Bowl in any way, the text that appears between scene changes sort of does. It reads,
In every corner of the world, from Stockholm to Singapore, everyone knows there is magic in this bag. Let the real games begin.
The 30-second ad is sure to catch the attention of men and women alike come Super Bowl Sunday, but if you don’t plan on watching the game, don’t miss out.
