The city of Seattle is very proud to be hosting the Special Olympics this year for the first time, and even more proud to share in the spirit of collaboration that is not only deeply ingrained in Seattle’s culture, but an integral part of the Special Olympics. Celebrating its 50th year, the Special Olympics will be right at home in this city of inclusion, that perpetually believes in each other and works together like a team. From the arts to food to community to business, pitching in together isn’t the exception in Seattle – it’s the rule.
With a voiceover by Seattle’s own Rainn Wilson and set to music by local artist Macklemore, the story of how the city “wins together” is cleverly demonstrated through a variety of shots – from Seattle Pride parades to the Special Olympic athletes in action.
