Other: In this ad for Vodafone, we tell the story of a little lost piglet named Piggy Sue and Donal, the farmer who finds her in the Sally Gap in Wicklow and attempts to reunite her with her owner. United by a love of Custard Creams, we see the friendship unfold between Donal and Piggy Sue, until the heart wrenching moment when Donal realises that Piggy Sue’s owner is… a pork farm.
The casting on the film was critical – both of farmer and pig! In Michael Hynes, we found the farmer that Ireland could take to their hearts, and the champion of our little lost piglet. His perfect comic timing and the warmth of the relationship between the two elevated the story, leaving even the hardiest of viewers with a lump in their throats by the end.
